We can se the ruins of the ancient amphitheater, the ruins of the city and we can visit the museum holding a lot of the objects excavated here.

Next stop is at Hunedoara, the hometown of Joannes Corvinus (Iancu de Hunedoara). In the 14th century he was the governor of Transylvania, an important military leader, and the greatest fighter against the Ottomans of his time. His castle is the biggest Gothic civil building in southeastern Europe. We’ll have the opportunity to visit the castle from the torture chamber to the highest tower.

Last stop is Alba Iulia, one of the former capitals of Transylvania. Once an important Roman city, Alba Iulia became the capital of Transylvania in the Middle Age, and a new fortress was built on the top of the roman ruins. Later, at the beginning of the 18th century, a beautiful star-shaped Vauban fortress was built. Some parts from the roman and middle aged fortress are preserved while almost the entire Vauban fortress is still standing. Everything was carefully renovated – walking on the streets of the fortress is a pleasure.
