This is a true walk through the centuries, during which we will experience the oriental atmosphere and the seaside elegance of old Constanța.
We will begin our exploration at Ovid Square, where we will stop by the monument of the exiled Roman poet whose gaze still seems fixed on the sea. It is a place full of nostalgia and poetry.
Next, we will visit the Great Mosque, whose slender minaret towers above the city. The building combines an oriental atmosphere with European architecture and reflects the cultural richness of the region. During the visit, we will climb the minaret, from where there is a breathtaking panoramic view of Constanța.
Our route would not be complete without the iconic Constanța Casino – an architectural jewel beautifully restored in the Art Nouveau style. It is a place where you can truly feel the echo of the past and the elegance of bygone years.
The walk will end at the Genoese Lighthouse and in the tourist port of Tomis, where modern yachts sway on the water where ships loaded with wine and silk once anchored.
