This day trip will help you discover the beauty of Transylvania with its old buildings full of history.
Today, head west driving parallel towards the Meridional Carpathians. Your first stop will be at Fagaras where you will visit the only fortress built by Romanians from Transylvania during the Middle Ages.
Next, head towards Carta, the former Abbey of the Cistercian Order, and the birthplace of the Gothic architectural style in Transylvania. Your next stop will be Sibiu where you will discover a unique medieval atmosphere.
On a city tour, see the main cultural objectives such as the Evangelic Church, the Liar’s Bridge and the Council Tower etc. Have some free time in Sibiu. Arrive in Brasov at the hotel where you will check-in at around 18:00.
